Happy World Wildlife Day

Happy World Wildlife Day

We want to take this opportunity to highlight the importance of protecting the biodiversity and natural beauty of our planet, and share with you how we work at Bagual to contribute to its preservation.

We have partnered with wool-producing farms in Tierra del Fuego, in the Chilean Patagonia, to offer sustainable and ethical wool products. The Chilean Patagonia is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, from guanacos and foxes to pumas and condors. The region is also home to the wonderful blue whale, the largest animal in the world. The waters around Patagonia also host a large amount of marine life, including orcas, dolphins, penguins, and a wide variety of fish. It's important to note that many of these species are endangered, and measures need to be taken to protect and preserve their natural habitats.

At Bagual, we take pride in working with local sheep farms to offer sustainable and ethical wool products, and support farming practices that respect both the environment and the community. We celebrate World Wildlife Day by knitting with sustainable and responsible wool and working together to protect our planet. By purchasing our products, you are not only getting quality items made with sustainable materials but also contributing to the conservation of the environment and the protection of wildlife.

The World Wildlife Day reminds us that we all have an important role to play in protecting our planet. Whether through small daily actions or by choosing products and companies that work for sustainability and wildlife protection, we can make a difference.

At Bagual, we are committed to continuing to contribute to this important cause and we hope to continue counting on your support. For every skein you purchase, we plant a tree, donate 1% of all our sales to NGOs that work to restore our ecosystems, and mitigate our carbon footprint to leave our planet better than we found it.

Thank you for choosing our products and for being part of our effort to create a more sustainable and conscious world.
